Star Group began its journey in January 2000 as a proprietorship consultancy firm – Star Exim India, specializing in Export–Import advisory services.
Operating from a small cabin at the Trade Centre, Mumbai, with a team of five dedicated members, we started offering services in DGFT advisory, export incentives, duty exemption, and refund assistance.
This laid the foundation for what would become a trusted name in India’s international trade ecosystem.

With growing client confidence, we expanded our portfolio to cover customs documentation, Liasoning, and incentive claim management.
Our team size (20+) and expertise grew rapidly as we helped exporters and importers navigate complex DGFT and Customs processes efficiently.

To provide comprehensive trade facilitation, we established Star India Logistics — a dedicated division offering Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, and Transportation services.
Within a short span, our workforce expanded to 40+ professionals, and we opened our Pune branch, marking our first regional expansion.

Recognizing the importance of on-field operations, we established our office at Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT).
This strategic move strengthened our import–export handling capabilities, allowing us to provide faster and more efficient cargo clearance services directly from India’s largest container port.

With operations growing rapidly, we shifted to a larger office and established our Air Cargo Division to enhance efficiency in handling shipments through ACC Customs.

A landmark year — we transitioned from a proprietorship firm to a Private Limited Company, formally establishing Star Exim Management Consultancy & Services Pvt. Ltd.
This transformation brought in stronger corporate governance, a structured framework, and enhanced client confidence.

With a vision to serve clients based in North India, we inaugurated our Delhi Office, expanding our presence in Northern India.
This branch soon became a strategic hub, catering to exporters and importers across NCR, Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh.

To diversify our services, we established Tisha Enterprises, focusing on Trading of Import Licenses like MEIS, SEIS, RoDTEP, DFIA.

Continuing our growth, Alisha Enterprises was established to provide Certification and Regulatory Compliance services for importers and exporters.
This addition further enriched the Star Group ecosystem, ensuring end-to-end compliance and certification support for clients.

From 2018 onwards, Star Group entered a phase of consolidation, modernization, and specialization.
The Group evolved into a unified ecosystem of four specialized entities, each serving a distinct function within the EXIM domain:
• Star Exim Management Consultancy & Services Pvt. Ltd. – EXIM Consultancy & DGFT Advisory
• Star India Logistics – Customs Clearing & Freight Forwarding
• Tisha Enterprises – Import License Trading
• Alisha Enterprises – Certification & Compliance Solutions
With offices in Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi, and 100+ MNCs, 100+ Corporates & 300+ MSMEs across India Star Group continues to deliver excellence through technology-driven operations and client-centric strategies.
During this phase, we also upgraded our team to 100+ & expertise with an in-house team of experienced advisors, enabling us to handle critical and complex cases with efficiency, precision, and ease.
